Dog Training in Idaho Falls
At Megan’s Northgate Animal Boarding we introduce a range of structured programs designed to help dogs develop obedience, social skills, and positive behaviors in a supportive environment. We have multiple training options, including a five-week basic course with group or one-on-one sessions, daycare-based socialization, and flexible add-on training opportunities. We also have more advanced services led by certified trainers, such as private in-home sessions and intensive board-and-train programs tailored to individual behavioral needs. Megan and the trainers present a comprehensive approach to dog training that combines professional guidance, consistent practice, and personalized care to support both dogs and their owners.
Basic Training With Alexi
This is a 5-week course with our trainer Alexi. Consists of 2, 1 hour classes and 1 daycare class per week. You and your dog will participate in either a group or 1 0n 1 class with Alexi and drop off your dog for 1 day a week to socialize in daycare.
$165.00 per week
Each dog must be at least 4 months old and fully vaccinated (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) and be kept on a leash at all times. If there are any signs of aggression or lack of control, the dog and owner may be asked to leave.

Training add-on
$30.00 per session
Add training to daycare or boarding for just $30.00 for 30 minutes. Up to 4 per day, depending on availability. Only available on Thursday and Fridays. This is a basic training class with Alexi.
Julie’s Training Program
Julie is a Certified Trainer & Behavior Specialist. Sher offers a few different courses of training.
Board and Train
Julie will Board your dog at her home, 24/7 comprehensive training & attention, 2+ days at Megan’s doggy daycare.

Private Training
In-home or Various Locations
1 on 1 Training in-home, off site or at Megan’s facility. This is recommended for basic training or reactivity/mild-moderate behavior rehabilitation.
